So here we are at December already and we'll all be asking where on earth the year has disappeared to. And I'm pretty sure that once you get your hands on the new Summer mini catalogue another thing you'll be asking yourself is how can you possibly choose?!!!!
If you don't have a summer mini yet and would like one mailed to you free of charge, please don't hestiate to call or email me and I'll pop one in the post. It is seriously bursting with beautiful things, not least of which - of course! - is my bff, the scallop edge punch!!!! LOL!
Some time last week I was blog surfing and came across a colour challenge using chocolate chip, creamy caramel and bravo burgundy (can't for the life of me remember which site, so if you know please tell me so I can post it here). At the time it was a wet, blustery and cool evening and I thought those lovely warm colours were just wonderful inspiration, so I made a card. Now, I have to admit that it was late at night and I really should have left it until the next day and gotten some much-needed sleep, but hey! I'm not a compulsive obsessive papercrafter for nothin'! When I looked at the quality of my watercolouring the next morning in the cold light of day, I was sure I should have waited! However, here it is in all its glory:
Stamp set used is Embrace Life from (you'll never guess!) the summer mini and the sentiment is a rub on from the Cherished Memories set in the newly retired (sob!) spring mini.
I think it lacks a little "zing" but DD16 thinks it's great, so I dunno! What do you think?
