Birthday Owl

It's an inspiration challenge over at Just Add Ink this week. The brief is to use the following picture as inspiration
and it can also be interpreted as Just Add A Bright Splash of Colour, so that's what I've done. My background is in neutral colours very vanilla and soft suede, and my splashes of colour are in rose red and pumpkin pie. I particularly wanted to use some of the luscious wide striped ribbon - luuuuuuurve big bows!

    So much fun Kez!! LOVE it. You are so the owl queen....I am hoping your pendant retains its magical powers for a lot longer. You are on a roll!!. The bow is truly luscious and the balloons are cute as. Fab colour combo too. BTW...did I say I loved the card?? ooxx

    I can't believe how many fabulous owl's you have created.

    The balloons really give this owl his character and the wide ribbon sets off the whole card. I really like this card.
