I picked ornaments and presents, choosing to make an ornament as a gift to commemorate my grandson's first Christmas:
I bought ornaments from Spotlight that come in two halves. The image was printed on vellum (so it can be seen from all sides) and coloured with markers, then fussy cut and adhered inside one half with grit paste. I added glitter, mica flakes, baubles and 'candy' confections, keeping the embellishments pretty simple because I want the stamped image to be the star of the show.
Materials used:
- stamps - Beary Merry Christmas (Mo Manning)
- card - vellum
- other - clear rock candy glitter, mica flakes, baubles, confections (all Tim Holtz), Stampin' Write markers, twines, fillable bauble (Jolly & Joy)
