Playing Truant

I should have been working this morning (housework, that is - yuk!) but I was up early and began making a Tri-Fold Shutter card that I've seen on so many blogs ... and then I was hooked! You know what it's like .......!

So here are a few views. Closed up, this is the front (fits in a standard C6 envelope):

I don't have the stamp set that goes with this paper (although I feel a "yet" coming on!) so I cut the flower from the paper and used a punch for the little ones. Here it is opened up so you can see all the folds:

Laying flat (well, flat-ish):

It didn't start out as a Magnolia card, the little girl image was actually the last thing I added, but this little Sweetheart Tilda was just the perfect shape for that space, you have to agree!

Well, I guess I'd better go and get that housework done now! Thanks for calling in today.

Wow Kerry! This is absolutely stunning! It's the cutest card of it's kind that I've seen yet! Your paper choices couldn't be more beautiful together. Lovely piece of eye candy!!!

Kez I totally LURVe what u have done with this card. The magical Magnolia on the inside finishes it off perfectly. U actually inspired me (as mojo-interuptus had hit hard) to what to create for a wee niece's 9th b' thanks so v v much for sharing....SERIOUSLY!! oxo
