Time For Tea

Today's card was made with my girls in mind; they love going out together for coffee or a pot of tea. DD13 talked me into buying this die set when I was browsing an online store last month and this is the first time I've used it. I love the shapes, they are so homely and comforting somehow - even for someone who doesn't drink tea!

I loved making the little tea bag, with it's cord hanging out of the cup, lol!

Materials used:
  • stamps - Morning Cup
  • card - pool party, calypso coral, Domestic Goddess DSP, whisper white
  • punches - large oval, scallop oval
  • other - dimensionals, white bakers twine, sponge daubers, blender pen
  • non SU - MFT time for tea die set, paper doily

Both girls love it but DD13 complains that looking at it makes her want a cup of tea! Hope you like it too.

Thanks for calling in.

Cheers
Kez

Very cute Kez! I love the colours and the doily is a great touch. I think I might go and have a cuppa now!

I like this card Kerry. The dies are cool and the dsp is perfect for the tablecloth.

BC (before children) I was coffee all the way, but since then I have learnt the pleasure of a good cup of tea. This tea set is delish Kex. LOVE it. The wee teabag is v v cute. DP so looks like a table top with a doily and the dp for the tea pot is the perfect topper. ooxx
