Shimmer and Shine

I've mentioned earlier that this month's classes are all about shimmer paint and the cards I have for you today use just that! These are for my beginners class on Sunday.

The first card has Champagne shimmer mist sprayed on the moon and is CASEd from a lovely card by Sarah Wills that caught my eye as soon as I saw it - might have been something to do with owls, LOL! - but I have made a few changes.

The two stamps are both from a set called Punch Bunch, available for FREE in the SAB catalogue. A very simple card to make, but so cute.

The second card uses Platinum shimmer paint for all the stamping - ie medallion, en francais and the sentiment - applied with a sponge dauber. The silver on the embossed portions of the butterfly were applied with a blender pen.

Thanks for dropping in.

Wow...U r SOOOOOO in the zone at the moment Kez. You are creating up a storm girl. I saw the owl card on SCS and immediately thought of you....LOL!! It is such a funa dn simple card. I can imagine the sparkle in the 2nd one. Something magical abt silver and black...and the wee bit of red makes it pop beautifully. STUNNING!!

I'm not really a fan of the owl punch, but you are slowly wearing me down with all the beautiful owl cards and characters you create. It's not on the list of things I need yet, but I can see if you keep creating interesting and intriquing owl things, I will have to give in and buy it :)

These are both gorgeous. I must play with my owl stamps and punch a little more. You have created some wonderful things with them.
