It's time for another clean and simple challenge with CAS on Friday. This is challenge #208 and our theme is LADYBIRDS/LADYBUGS.
We get so many native birds in our backyard that it would be easy to overlook the smaller creatures, but I do love to see butterflies and ladybirds as well. Of course, the childrens' nursery song comes to mind instantly, lol, as I'm sure it does for many of us.
Here's my ladybird card:
Aren't those little ladybug trinkets the cutest? They're metallic so I simply coloured them with alcohol markers.
Materials used:
- card - watercolour, seaside spray, basic white, seaside spray patterned paper
- distress oxide inks - twisted citron, mowed lawn, rustic wilderness, speckled egg, mustard seed
- other - Wildflower Stems 1 die (Tim Holtz/Sizzix), Sidekick, aqua painter, glossy accents, white pigment ink, stitched rectangle die, Dimensionals, Small Talk stickers (Tim Holtz), ladybug trinkets (SU), alcohol markers
Do pop on over to the CASOF blog to admire the creations my fellow team members have made to inspire you.
Thanks for calling in.
Cheers
Kerry

Love the colours on this, and the ladybugs (ladybirds) are a great finishing touch. Love the distress ink on the stem & leaves. Another winner!
