For some reason the idea to make a Christmas card was fixated in my brain, lol, even though they're non-traditional colours (or maybe that's why 😉). I'm really not fond of petal pink, much preferring blushing bride, but I did use it - albeit very sparingly (lol) - and must admit to quite liking it paired with Bermuda bay. Who'd have thunk? 😁
Materials used:
- stamps - Tiny Text Christmas (Tim Holtz)
- card - basic white, petal pink, Bermuda bay, brushed gold
- dies - stitched rectangle, Snowglobe #2 (Tim Holtz), Home for the Holidays (Concord & 9th)
- inks - petal pink, Bermuda bay, blackberry bliss, Versamark
- other - tarnished brass distress paint, paintbrush, blending brushes, Big Shot, Sidekick, MISTI, white embossing powder, heat tool, craft foam, gold cord
My fellow team members have created some beautiful works to inspire you, so do go and check them out on the JAI blog. As always, we'd love for you to create your own project inspired by these colours and add it to our gallery.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Kerry, I like your card, are there any dimensions for it please? Cheers and Thankyou Marilyn.
Thanks Marilyn. This one is a little bigger than standard size, the base being 16x11.5cm. The white piece is A6 size. Cheers, Kerry
I am so LOVING you card!!! I've been wanting to try the Northern Lights and your card has inspired me. Thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous creation. :)
Thank you! I didn’t intend it to represent the Northern Lights but am very happy you like the effect and were inspired to give it a go. Best of luck! Kerry
