The Fairy in My Garden

For DD's 21st birthday party yesterday we had dug out a heap of old photos so I've been having a play with some of them using MDS (My Digital Studio), just released here in Australia last week. This time I was fiddling with opacity, stamps, mats and punches - so here is the layout I ended up with.

The image might be a little small for you to see (click on it to enlarge) but I have stamped the swirl from Creative Elements in the top right and lower left corners. One of the things I love about digital crafting is you can resize your stamp and flip it horizontally or vertically to suit the area you have - so here it is shown in two different sizes and orientations. The two layers of punch behind the journalling have been made slightly opaque so you can still see the photo images behind them. Love it!

I am having a lot of fun playing with this new toy - and you can too, for FREE! There is a free 30-day trial version of MDS available for you to try - just click on my SHOP NOW button over on the right and it will take you to a link you can order from.

Thanks for stopping by. I do hope you are enjoying your Easter break.

Cheers
Kez

This is so precious! I always said I would never switch to digital for scrapbooking, but find myself using it much more than traditional! I love being able to make my pictures any size I want too! Be sure to check out the MDS website frequently. There are so many tips and tricks that really make digital scrapbooking even more fun!
