I got a bit carried away with spritzing ink on the background so it's ended up a touch grungier than I was hoping for, but ah well, them's the breaks. Take a lookie:
My first step was to colour my texture paste and do the stencilling, then added the ink background, spritzing and paint splatters. The leaf image was stamped firstly in rococo rose ink and coloured using Stampin' Blends, then overstamped with Versamark and embossed with silver. It's the first time I've tried that technique (apparently embossing powder is not good for alcohol markers) and I was very pleased with how it turned out. The last two steps were the stamping of the sentiment and adding a few metallic sequins just for a smidge more silver.
Materials used:
- stamps - Leaf Canopy (Altenew)
- card - basic grey, whisper white
- other - silver embossing powder, heat tool, brick wall stencil, texture paste, spritzer tool, paint brush, Stampin' Blends, Stamparatus, metallic sequins, Big Shot, stitched rectangle die
I love the rose over the greys - what a great colour combo the ladies at JAI picked this week!
Thanks for stopping by. Stay safe.
Cheers

Very pretty card! Love the textured background!
Oh wow! This is fabulous, Kerry. You must be thrilled with how well it turned out, & I agree the rose over the grey really stands out. Lovely to see you over at JAI again. Now I'm off to check out your other card using this technique. x
Great colour combo, the pink with the grey is striking. The texture on the background stencil looks very effective. Great mixed media card, not too busy. TFS
The love the rustic embossing paste and spritzing. It add such great texture to your card. The fine line silver embossing on the leaves is delightful. Chantell Just Add Ink
